Aside from the fact that she slept with Nathan Nicolette hasn’t been able to get his question out of her head. Should she move in with him? What about Manny? Does he want her to stay?

Nicolette: So… Nathan asked me something last night…

Manny: Besides the fact if you had a condo-

Nicolette: Manny! Oh my god! *she laughs* Well… He asked me to move in with him…

Manny: ….And?… What’d you say?

Nicolette: I said I’d think about it…. 

Manny: What do you want me to say?…. It’s up to you…

Nicolette: But do you still want me here with you?

Manny: Of course I do! I love yo-… I love living with you. But it’s up to you, it’s your decision and I can’t make it for you.

Nicolette needs to figure out what she wants.

Morning After

Nicolette got up in the morning after Nathan had kissed her goodbye saying that he had to go to work. She feels incredibly awkward going out into the living room and seeing Manny sitting there like every other morning.

Manny knows he has no reason to be jealous. He shouldn’t be, but he is. He tries to keep his mind on other things when he clearly knows and can hear what is going on.

Was Nice

Nathan was a perfect gentleman. Nicolette has to admit it wasn’t bad considering the question he had asked her earlier. She couldn’t keep the fact that her best friend was in the next room and that the walls are quite thin.

Awkward

Moving past the subject of moving in, she invited him back to her apartment. Nicolette hasn’t actually brought Nathan back to her apartment, usually, they go to his.
She didn’t quite plan on Manny being in the living room and seeing her lead her boyfriend into the room with it very clear on what they were about to do. She didn’t catch the look Nathan gave Manny on their way to her room.

The Question

They have had a good time on their date, the drinks are half off and they play some foseball. Once they sit down Nathan asks Nicolette a question she wasn’t quite expecting.

Nathan: So, we’ve been dating for a while, and both you and Manny are in good places job wise… Would you like to move in with me?

Nicolette: Oh what?.. Manny and I are actually looking for a new place.

Nathan: Have you signed yet? I thought you two were only living together to be able to afford to live in the city?

Nicolette: … Not yet we haven’t…

Nathan: Then think about it, i’d love for you to live with me. We’d get to see each other more. You spend a lot of time with him as it is, it’s not like you couldn’t see each other if you lived with me.

Nicolette: I’ll have to think about it…
